Art Direction, Web Design

Random Order renowned for its Toronto-based podcast, seeks to revamp its website. I came up with 2 different art directions inspired by their current visual imagery and styles. Their brand identity shows funny, unorthodox, rough/rugged, loud, exaggerative, explosions and overly edited.

Based on their logos and colour palettes, I devised two different art directions. The first concept is retro-futurism, which is a distinctive style that captures both the paranoia and euphoria of new technology in a vivid aesthetic. The second one is anti-design/chaos, which is a digital design approach that rejects convention and traditional aesthetics in favour of challenging and innovative layouts.
